Kristin Williams

Kristin is a Life Coach at the Florissant Excel Center.  As a lifelong learner herself, she loves to work with adult learners to further their education and work through barriers to achieve success. She earned her BS in Psychology and Human Resources from Webster University, her MBA from Webster University and most recently her Masters of Science in Industrial Organizational Psychology.  Kristin is also a certified Life and Health Coach. Her professional experience includes life coaching, health coaching, and career development through the lens of human resource management. Kristin’s favorite quote is “Never compare your journey with someone else’s, your journey is your journey, not a competition.”

Kristen earned a BA in Secondary Education and History from Drury University and her MA in Social Science Education from Webster University. She began her teaching career in 2011 and has taught middle school, high school, and adult education. She absolutely loves adult education and feels like the Excel Center is exactly where she is supposed to be! It feels like home!

Kim Thacker taught Headstart for three years before becoming Daycare Director for the Poplar Bluff Goodwill Excel Center. Prior to her career working with children, she worked for 12 years as a nurse. She has a Bachelors in Educational Studies and an Associates in Elementary Education.

Education: Master of Science in Health Promotion and Wellness Management from Missouri State University; Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, Emphasis in Mathematics, Spanish, Language Arts from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. I have a vast job history which has lead me to the Excel Center and I still have a list of professions that I am interested in possibly pursuing when "I grow up". I am an educator by heart, education, and profession. I enjoy meeting new people, fostering friendships, educating people, and learning new things every day. I love spending time traveling and experiencing life's moments with family and friends.

He spent 33 years as a mathematics teacher, and Department Chair public schools in St. Charles and St. Louis Co.
