Daycare Director, Lead Daycare Teacher

Mother of 4 who worked as a Pediatric Nurse for 9 years before finding her passion working with children in a different setting at The Excel Center Daycare. I chose this job because I love how the Excel Center took one of the main reasons why students drop out of school or never return which is childcare, and took that barrier into consideration by creating a free onsite daycare for our students. At that moment I knew this program was exactly what I wanted to be a part of!

Social Studies, English

I am a firm believer in the power of education to change a person's life. Since graduating from UCM with a degree in Social Studies Education, I have taught for over 25 years at schools in rural western Missouri, Hangzhou and Wuhan in China, and joined the Excel Center when we opened in 2018. Health issues forced me to cut back to part-time, but now that I am better, I am thrilled to be returning to full-time teaching at the Excel Center. I look forward to helping you achieve your goals.
