Anastasia Hercules-Stone has worked in secondary education for 13 years before arriving to the Goodwill Excel Center. Although she is a St. Louis area native, she has her degrees (BS in history with a minor in literature and MA in education) from the University of Southern Indiana. She also has her National Board Certification and has completed a Fulbright study abroad program, and IREX teacher exchange to India, a cultural immersion experience in Trinidad and presented at the National Council for the Social Studies. She is married with 2 step children. She loves to be outside and travel (16 countries and counting) and sharing her global perspectives and experiences with her students in her social studies classes. “Being a nerd is my superpower! I love sharing what I learned with my students and teaching adults that are coming back to school to learn and better themselves and the lives of their families.”
