Yes – we will need your high school transcript to transfer any credits you earned. However, you can start classes before we receive it, and we can help you obtain a copy if needed.
The State of Missouri requires 24 credits across all subject areas in order to graduate.
Our team of Life Coaches will help you select the courses needed for you to meet Missouri’s graduation requirements and be prepared for life after graduation. Our College and Career Readiness Specialists also support you in preparing for your goals after graduation.
Maybe. If your transcript shows that you do not have enough credits in a specific subject area, then you may need to take more classes in that area in order to meet the state graduation requirements. All students take placement assessments in Reading, Writing, and Math as part of the enrollment process. Some students are enrolled in support courses to strengthen their academic skills in preparation for high school level courses. We also offer free tutoring on Fridays to support your progress.
At this time, only students who are enrolled in the program to receive their high school diploma are eligible for our certification training courses. If you're looking for other certification opportunities, we recommend exploring local community colleges or vocational programs that offer standalone IRC courses.
